Introducing: Playing with Pallets

“Playing with Pallets” is a structured exploration of color and form. the concept is simple yet profound: each series within the collection is defined by a unique, fixed color pallet. From this singular set of colors, five individual acrylic on canvas and mixed media artworks are created.

As an artist, this constraint serves as a creative launchpad. To challenge my own creative habits. How can the same five colors evoke tranquility in one composition and energy in another? How does context, scale, and application redefine a color’s voice? By viewing each series as a cohesive unit, the collection invites you to see the relationships between the pieces, observing the full expressive range contained within a limited selection.

The journey is ongoing, with new series added as new color stories emerge. The final number of the series remains to be determined. This evolving nature reflects the core idea of the project: that within any defined set of possibilities, the potential for new discovery is endless. I invite you to explore each series closely, to see the conversation between the pieces, and to discover the incredible variety that can bloom from a carefully chosen set of colors.

The collection will debut the first series, Watermelon Sorbet with more to be released throughout the year.
